Morag
Bramley
1)
Draw a circle 33/5" radius on coloured paper.
2) Draw an inner circle with the same centre of 22/5" radius
3)
Draw an inside circle in a similar way of 12/3" radius.
4) Draw a diameter across the exact centre point of the original circle.
5) Draw two other diameters using a protractor at the centre point, at 60
degrees from each other.
6) Draw a hexagon by joining the points where the diameters meet the
innermost circle.
7) At the intersections between first inner circle & diameters, draw
part circles which reach to the circumference of original circle and stop at
the first inner circle. From
that point straight lines can be drawn through your hexagon to the opposite
side. Do this six times. You can now write whatever you want.
To fold up this book see diagram. (VH
are valley folds and H are hill folds.)
With careful manipulation this will turn into a little flower.
To make the cover draw a circle on firm paper of a suitable colour of
34/5" radius. Cut it out. Fold
in three equal lines making a triangle and fold together.
Tuck one side in to shut it. Make
a 2" broad band of contrasting colour to keep triangle shut.
Put the book inside.
