Kathy Luff Having attended a workshop in July on
the subject of paper marbling – to be written up fully in the November
edition of The Folder – I thought this would make a suitable topic for the
little books of the Light Bookswap. I decided to use the paper I had
marbled for the book cover and also to show the results of the three
different methods practised. For
the lettering narrative I used Fabriano Artistico, and also used this for
the inner book cover. Because
of the weight of the paper I was able to keep the lettering to a brief
description on the front page of each single fold section.
I then cut the example paper to size and folded that as a double page
inside the section. I decided
to use a very simple binding as the paper provides the decoration. |
