Sun
For
once I fell in love with the cover paper first, when I saw this paper
marbled in vivid yellows and reds with a touch of gold.
So I found a quote about the sun and used matching pastel papers for
the pages and gouache for the lettering. I
have been experimenting with the piano hinge binding designed by Heidi Kyle
and I admire this ingenious way of binding.
So I took the opportunity to play and used a piano hinge with a fine
brass rod to match the theme of these books. |
