A word is dead

For some time I’ve wanted to try out the Secret Belgian Binding and I very much enjoyed using it for this book. I found the instructions in Cherryl Moote’s Books with Girth.

The short poem ‘A word is dead’ about the power of words is by Emily Dickinson and I thought a small precious book suited the poem. The lettering is gouache and the decoration schlag metal leaf.
